ABUS developed the Granit Detecto 8000/12 KS 120 Black Loop (chain only) to be used with the 8000 Detecto Alarmed disc lock. A specially forged 14mm bolt slides into the disc lock before the lock is attached to the brake disc. This allows you to lock the motorcycle to a fixed object or another bike.

The chain is 12mm core-hardened special alloy steel in a noose configuration. The noose setup allows you to use the full length of the chain rather than having to lock both ends into a lock.

This chain is available separate for those customers already owning the 8000 Detecto disc lock. Please be aware that this chain is of very little use without the lock.
