The Masterlock 6271 shackle-less puck lock provides a lot of security for a very reasonable price. Used in combination with the 770 protective hasp, it becomes a serious problem for thieves to by-pass. Standard side entry key-way as opposed to frontal key-way on the American 2500 (see image below).  Available in keyed different or keyed alike versions.
