using the very latest in tie down technology.
Introducing: Road Bike Tyre Down , an Australian designed and built
product, protects your bike’s handlebars and suspension by safely
securing your bike via its rear wheel. Tyre Down can be fitted to most
types of trailers or vans and within minutes. Although there is no need
for front tie downs, it does not hurt to use a few as backup.
For the Road Bike Tyre Down to be suitable for your bike, your rear
wheel needs to be relatively clear. Bikes with large tight rear guards
or low pipes may not be suitable. Panniers or saddlebags may need to be
removed.

| A note on
shipping: This item has a very awkward shape. Our
shipping calculator is set at a certain weight/size ratio and
for it to be shipped in a separate box. This means that, if you
order more items or multiple Tyre Downs, the shipping is
calculated at it's maximum cost (2 items = 2 boxes). However, we
can most often combine items into one box and will adjust the
final shipping cost to it's true value when we prepare the
shipment. Any overpayment will be refunded and show on the
final invoice. |

To check that Tyre Down will fit your bike, drape a length of string or
rope over your rear tire with each end of the rope held to the proposed
fixing points 750mm - 30" to 900mm - 36" apart and approximately 50mm -
2" forward of the rear wheel axle. If there is no interference with any
part of your bike the Tyre Down will fit. See illustration above. |
