This chain is advertised, on some sites, as being 4.5FT long.
It is not!

This Chain & Lock combination differs from 39/12 MKS90 by using a smaller 9mm diameter chain. Lighter in weight, this combo is ultra portable.

Any touch or movement on the bike, chain or lock and all hell breaks loose.
Yes, it is true that alarms are generally ignored but try to imagine a thief's attempt, to cut a really tough chain, while the pressure has been put on him. Nice bonus is that you can use the lock separate as an alarmed disc lock
