| The 39 Victory brake lock is the
latest high security brake lock to come out of the ABUS engineering lab
in Germany. The goal of the lock was to combine the security level
of the 37 Quick with more compactness and
portability. They were quite successful. The lock and
pin are milled from a solid piece of steel then core hardened to a
minimum of 65 Rockwell.
The keyway is the patented ABUS Plus® 7 disc cylinder with 250.000 combinations and anti-drill plate What makes this lock so strong is its inaccessibility to the locking pin. Once it is on the rotor, bolt cutters, pry bars and mauls are useless. The locking pin is 9/16" in diameter (14mm) which is the thickest of any rotor lock on the market. For those tight fitting brake discs with limited space, there is an optional half moon pin. This lock will fit everywhere the 37 Quick
won't fit assuming there is a 9/16" hole in the disc. The
lock comes in either a triple chrome plated finish or a satin black
powder coating.
