OnGuard Boxer Disc lock #5050 is a low cost but high quality alternative to our ABUS 39 Victory. It operates in a very similar way. Both parts rotate freely allowing no leverage on the lock.

This compact, ultra-secure disc lock will fit any disc with a 9/16" opening. The rear bolt is inserted from behind the disc, inserted into the lock housing and locked with the X-Plus key system. Both parts rotate freely which makes it virtually impossible to defeat. ABUS X-Plus key system is pick and drill proof. High quality, Made in Germany.

Bolt size: 9/16" (14mm) diameter with 1 9/16" (40mm) head.

ABUS 8000 Detecto, with X-Plus key system is ABUS Brand top of the line Alarmed Disc Lock.
Abus has taken a different approach with it's line of Alarmed Disc Locks. We find the alarm sensitivity to be much less, compared to Xena Alarmed Locks, which can be perceived, dependant on personal preference, as a positive or not. Abus has placed more emphasis on the lock itself, to protect the bike, where the alarm function will kick in if someone attempts to tamper with the lock.
