Hot Grips are widely known as the best heated grips available. The
difference between this US made brand and all others (china made) is in
the consistent quality, even heat output throughout the entire grip
length and all round. No Hotspots. Another big difference is heat
output where is matters ...
Your Hands. US made Hot Grips brand heated grips have less heat-loss
through the handlebars and more heat output to the outside. Hot Grips
are guaranteed never to burn out and are available in different lengths
for different bikes.
US Made HotGrips are available with open or closed ends or optional
Chrome End-caps.
The standard kit consists of a left and right
side heated grip, one hi/lo/off switch, one resistor and installation
instructions. A handlebar mounted switch housing is available.
We are now offering a genuine Warm & Safe Heat-Troller or Symtec electronic
controller upgrade, at a strongly reduced bundle price, with every set
of Hot Grips. If you choose the upgrade then the package consists of
both grips, one controller of your choice and all necessary
instructions. If you are not wiring into a switch controlled accessory
lead, on your vehicle, use a relay to make sure the heated grips are
turned off when you turn your ignition off.

Hot Grips Mfg. recommends using a heat resistant 2 component adhesive.
Powerpoxy, which we have recommended and sold for many years, is no
longer available. At this time, we do not have a replacement product on
the shelf but you can find high temperature (250 °F or higher) in
most local stores like AutoZone, Napa, Wal-Mart etc.
Measure the length of your original grips and choose between open or
closed ends (or chrome caps).
4 3/4" (4.75) is standard length on
most bikes.
If your grips are slightly longer, go with 5.25 or 5.75.
