American Lock A2500 is a very well made solid machined steel padlock without shackle. They are used primarily on trailer and van doors with or without a protective hasp. The main difference between this puck lock and other brands (Masterlock, Mul-T-Lock, etc) is that the key entry is in the front of the lock rather than on the side. This makes it much easier to operate. This lock has special threaded holes in the back so it can be permanently attached to one side of the special American 801 or 802 hasp. The pin is spring loaded and cylinder has a anti drill protection.
