Lockitt PL775 Hasp for Puck Style Padlocks

Accepts our US made PLLK5011 Flat Back puck lock (NOT INCLUDED) which optionally can be permanently mounted on one side of the hasp. Meaning, the lock stays on the hasp when the door is opened. Many other brand puck locks will fit as well but can not be fixed to the hasp.
Constructed from a solid 5mm steel plate with welded 6mm thick raised walls and hidden mounting bolt openings which are protected by a puck lock in place.
One side of the hasp has been reduced in size to allow mounting when less space is available .. think cargo trailer with ramp door.
This type hasp is widely used on flat closing double rear or side delivery van-doors and completely protects the puck lock inside from brute force attacks. Can be mounted on right or left opening doors (upside down on left opening door).
Where other brand hasps have all mounting bolts exposed, our PL775 has 2 hidden mounting bolts placed under the lock.
Additional extra thick steel mounting plates are available (not included) to reinforce the doors on the inside. This is recommended when the hasp is mounted on plywood trailer doors. For most applications, using large washers on the inside is more than sufficient.
PL775 puck hasp is mounted with 5 carriage bolts and 2 extra countersunk 5/16" bolts hidden under the lock.
Due to specific lengths needed for any given install, carriage bolt hardware is not included but can be found easily at any hardware store.

This short side puck hasp is exactly as pictured and described It's the heaviest duty I could find online (thickest steel plate) and the fit and finish are both stellar. Perfect fit with my standard sized puck lock. Other important considerations are the use of carriage bolts for the primary mounting, and the hidden bolt holes behind the puck lock. This is one secure piece of hardware! The color is a very dark gray powder coat over zinc-plated steel. If you choose to change the color, note that there are outgassing issues with powder over zinc that will result in peeling if not properly treated/applied. I'm probably going to just coat mine with Line-X to make them black and reduce the possibility of scratching the finish. Keep in mind clearances if you go this route, particularly where the lock is inserted/secured and the openings for the bolt holes.
I also want to express my appreciation for Lockitt's customer service. Pat responded to my pre-purchase emails very quickly, and shipped my order the same day I placed it. I also saved quite a bit by ordering from Lockitt .... redacted....
