The Stainless steel cable, when fully unrolled, can be inserted in one or both available openings. It is securely held in place by the one-way internal grippers. The cable can be pulled forward, cinched tight around an object, but it can't be pulled out without unlocking and releasing the grippers.

The Helmet Guardian is one of our featured products. It consists of a pair of high quality helmet locks attached to a steel plate, predrilled with slots to line up with most license plates in the US and Canada. The locks and steel plate are powder coated to a nice black finish.

The overall width of this great accessory is 11 inches, and the locks are 2 1/2 inches tall. It can be installed in either the upper or lower two license plate bolts, where the license attaches to the bike. Also included is a package of theft deterrent fasteners, to detract would be thieves.

A really nice feature of this product is that both locks are keyed alike, and they are spring loaded, so you do not need to fumble with a key when trying to lock up your helmet by the D ring.

The fit is universal, and it fits quite nicely between the saddle bags of BMW's, Kawasaki Concours and the Honda ST1100. It also fits quite well on most sport bikes and cruisers.
