Good balance of lock strength/security and weight.
The locks themselves are light enough to carry on every trip, yet secure enough for us to feel confident locking them up for a couple of hours in a high foot traffic area. As with almost all Abus products, these look great and feel like they are worth what you paid for them - they are a quality lock.
The Granit 640 fits my wife's Portland Design Works Bodega basket that has a lock tray. I either mount mine with the TEXKF Bracket to my frame or fit it in my Basil Miles XL Pro trunk bag for longer trips.
The locks themselves are the perfect size for our 2022 Trek Allant+ 7S Standard and 2022 Trek Allant+ 7 Step Through. Easy to lock up the frame, rear tire and use our Abus Cobra Cable.
I ordered two of these - keyed alike to match our Trek Allant+ Bosch battery locks. This makes it easy for myself and my wife to lock/unlock each others bicycles if needed.
Lockitt performed the key-alike service and they work perfect with our original keys from Trek - very happy about that. Just be prepared to wait about a month, which they do warn you of in the description for the service.
The only thing keeping these locks from being 5 stars is the lock mechanism. It's very finnicky - it takes quite few tries to get the key out after we lock them a lot of the times. I'm hoping after some more use it may work a bit better and smooth out. Other than that, we are very pleased with our locks.
Note From Store Owner: Thank you for the extensive product review.
The keys being finnicky is typical for all disc detainer cylinders. It will get a little
easier, when the keys and discs lose some of the sharper edges, but the secret is patience and NEVER force.
2 finger operation and take the time.

Looks intimidating, but the alarm is far from "ear splitting", don't expect it to hear it unless you are close to where you left your bike, that said it is still a better deterrence than no alarm at all, the lock itself is very strong and versatile, the brake discs on my ride are wider than most others so the long shackle allowed me to fit this on it when almost all other padlock style disc locks have shackles that are too short for them.
Think of the alarm as a bonus added to an already hefty padlock and you won't be dissapointed.
