I had one of these back in the 80's on a Suzuki GS650G. I had a positive experience with it, so when I wanted to put a MC cruise control on my Honda NC750, this is what I came back to. I ordered a NEP CC-3 as the description said it works for many dual cable Honda models, though the NC750 was not specifically listed. The CC-3 is the model with the square tab that fits between the cable bosses on the throttle housing. Unfortunately, the tab was a little too large to fit. No problem. I shaved down the tab to fit using a Dremel tool. Problem number 2: In this position, with where the cable bosses are, the locking mechanism is pointing right at you, the lever pointing straight down. Here, the lever interferes with the starter button. Being nylon, I could push it out of the way to activate the starter, but this is not really the best position for use. You really want the mechanism to be positioned on top of the throttle housing, with the lever horizontal. I ended up reinstalling it with the lever on top, constraining the position using Ty-Wraps, instead of the square tab between the cable bosses. Works as intended and as is convenient now in this position.
