A hidden behind the license plate storage box

Plastic molded, The Grifter is a weather resistant storage box that mounts behind the motorcycle license plate. Lightweight and low cost, it is ideally suited for storing your vehicle registration, insurance papers, a kickstand pad, small tools, a tire pressure gauge, CO2 cartridges, some spare change or other small objects while remaining unobtrusive.
The Grifter license plate storage box is sized to work with all standard size license plates but will also work with the current Wisconsin and Ohio cycle plates on most motorcycles. Depending on your bike's setup, mount it with the lock on top or upside down with the lock at the bottom.
- External Dimensions: 7" x 4" x 1" plus 1" on the width for the lock. (177mm x 111mm x 26mm plus 26mm at the lock)
- Internal Storage Dimensions: 6.3" x 2.2" x 0.8"
- Includes all mounting hardware, zip bag for paper documents, lock and two keys
- Now also includes foam insert
*The box is delivered with the lock and all parts inside the box. Installing the lock is required. It is advisable to use a thread locker on the lock retention nut to prevent the lock from vibrating loose.

The license plate storage box is a must have for any motorcycle. It holds my registration and insurance paperwork. It includes all of the hardware to attach it. It is very sturdy and roomy. Since the storage box includes a rubber gasket the contents will not get wet.

Don't know why a certain motorcycle make whose initials are HD can't account for something like this. There is nowhere to put the registration that is required by law to be with the vehicle unless I ride with it in my pocket every time. Thanks Lockitt for this elegant solution. Works exactly as advertised.
