Steel Backing Plate set for PL775 Hasp

This short side puck hasp is exactly as pictured and described It's the heaviest duty I could find online (thickest steel plate) and the fit and finish are both stellar. Perfect fit with my standard sized puck lock. Other important considerations are the use of carriage bolts for the primary mounting, and the hidden bolt holes behind the puck lock. This is one secure piece of hardware! The color is a very dark gray powder coat over zinc-plated steel. If you choose to change the color, note that there are outgassing issues with powder over zinc that will result in peeling if not properly treated/applied. I'm probably going to just coat mine with Line-X to make them black and reduce the possibility of scratching the finish. Keep in mind clearances if you go this route, particularly where the lock is inserted/secured and the openings for the bolt holes. I also want to express my appreciation for Lockitt's customer service. Pat responded to my pre-purchase emails very quickly, and shipped my order the same day I placed it. I also saved quite a bit by ordering from Lockitt rather than directly from the manufacturer. I bought the matching backing plates for this, so my total Lockitt order (two PL775 hasps and two sets of backing plates) qualified for free shipping.
