Mul-T-Lock NE12HE1 High Guard Padlock.
This high-security solid steel padlock is fitted with the top level MTL600 (Interactive+) 10 pin cylinder and features a 1/2 inch protected shackle.
As is the case wit all Mul-T-Lock padlocks and door locks, this lock can be keyed to any other MTL lock that works on the same key system.

The Difference
Mul-T-Lock has a different approach to security compared to most other lock manufacturers. Besides the really high quality materials and workmanship, it is all about key and key code protection.
Every lock or lock set is fitted with it's own unique key code and we never stock "on the shelf" keyed alike series.
Duplicate keys can only be provided by an authorized Mul-T-Lock vendor and only by presenting the key code card.

Ordering Options - Keyed alike service
This padlock is fitted with Mul-T-Lock MTL600 (Interactive+) key system and comes standard with 2 keys and a key code card.
- Keyed Different: Select this option if only one lock is needed. If multiple Keyed Different locks are ordered, each lock will be Keyed Different from the next. Each lock will include its own set of 2 keys and code card.
- Keyed Alike: Select this option if you need multiple locks all keyed the same. Every lock in a keyed alike order will be custom built and set to the same key. A set of keyed alike locks will come with 3 working keys. Extra keys can be added.
When ordering Keyed Alike locks, please keep in mind certain security risks. See Security Risks below. - Spec Keyed: Select this option if you need one or more locks keyed to a Mul-T-Lock 206S key code you already have. All locks are custom built and the lock or lock set will ship with one working key.
- Master Keyed Series: This option requires planning and you need to contact us to set this up. Master keyed can be all locks in the set are keyed different or several keyed alike sets with one master key to open all locks. A master keyed set will be completely custom build.
Security Risks
There are two kinds of security risks involved with keyed alike series of locks.
1 - Always keep in mind that one compromised key, in the hands of an unauthorized person, compromises all your locks instead of just the one.
2 - This applies to most other brands. While stocked on-the-shelf Keyed Alike locks are a fast and convenient way to purchase several locks keyed the same, anyone buying from that same batch essentially has your key. This is how market places like Amazon, eBay, all big box stores or most other vendors sell keyed alike locks.
