ABUS 83/40 S2 Solid Brass Padlock
ABUS 83/40 S2 is part of the solid brass padlock series ideal for corrosive environments.
This padlock is standard delivered with a zero bitted* cylinder, with key blank, ready to be re-keyed to your Schlage or Kwikset** house key. Make your padlock work with a house key you already own.
Re-keying the padlock is easy if you have some lock re-keying experience, or a local lock-smith can do it or we can set it up for you.
Series 2 type 83 locks have a NANO PROTECT coated steel shackle for extra corrosion protection.
All 83 series locks have easy interchangeable shackles in case you need a longer or shorter shackle, can be switched from key-retaining to non key-retaining in seconds.
This lock can be be custom fitted with the ABUS 888 or Vitess cylinders as well.
