All ABUS Plus keys are special ordered from ABUS key cutting department.
Allow a shipping delay of at least 4 weeks.
Replacement keys cannot be returned or refunded
ABUS Plus keys have 6 or 7 digit codes (no letters)
Numbers 1 through 6 only. If your key code has a 0 or any number higher than 6, or a letter, it is NOT an ABUS PLUS key code
You can find the key code only on the card or tag that came with your lock.
Key codes are NEVER on the lock itself or associated with any numbers or markings that may be found on the lock.
Plus keys are mostly used in ABUS 20, 37 & 88, 1000 series cable locks, 51,470, 640, 501 U-locks and Bordo Folding Lock 6000 series after 2016.
If you do not have the key code but have one working ABUS PLUS key in hand, you can mail your key to us for code deciphering. If you do not have the key code or a spare key, the lock is lost.

I messed up the order online and was quickly helped be support to correct it. Can’t ask for better than that.
My only issue is the delivery time. It was 3 weeks from purchase to delivery. I expected that, so it’s not a complaint. Just wish there would have been a way to speed up the turnaround.
I’d order from these folks again.

To keep the cost of replacement keys affordable and manageable, they have to be processed in bulk. If every single key would be processed, produced and shipped individually, involving the time of several people, keys could end up costing more or as much as the lock itself.

Without the original key in hand, to compare cuts, or the lock available to test the newly cut keys, there is always a small chance something goes wrong. In the event your new keys do not work, we will work with you to find a fix. We may need you to send in the original key or, in worst case scenario, the lock itself.
