Paclock PL779 Corner Hasp for Puck Style Padlocks

Accepts our US made PL5011A UCS Flat Back puck lock (NOT INCLUDED) which optionally can be permanently mounted on one side of the hasp. Meaning, the lock stays on the hasp when the door is opened. Many other brand puck locks will fit as well but can not be fixed to the hasp.
Constructed from a solid 5mm steel plate with welded 6mm thick raised walls and hidden mounting bolt openings which are protected by a puck lock in place.
One side of the hasp has been reduced in size to allow mounting when less space is available .. think cargo trailer with ramp door.
This type hasp is designed for vending machines or equipment boxes and completely protects the puck lock inside from brute force attacks.
Where other brand hasps have all mounting bolts exposed, our PL779 has 1 hidden mounting bolts placed under the lock.
Additional extra thick steel mounting plates are available (not included) to reinforce the doors on the inside.
PL777 puck hasp is mounted with 6 carriage bolts and 1 extra countersunk 5/16" bolts hidden under the lock.
Due to specific lengths needed for any given install, carriage bolt hardware is not included but can be found easily at any hardware store.

I am pleased we found this style of puck lock hasp for our wood sheds with sliding doors. In the past, they have been accessed by thieves cutting the old-fashioned hasp and staple or the shank. We tried disk locks but the hasp was cut. When we started using the puck locks, both sides of the hasps made for puck locks were too wide, overlapping the trim boards. This corner hasp was the answer: the jamb side of the hasp tucks between the jamb and the door. The door hasp side is such that we can drill bolts through the door without adding extra wood trim, that would make the door heavier.
