Arkon’s SM432 is solidly made and securely holds a wide variety iPhone and Android phones. With a standard 17mm ball mount, this cradle is compatible with all G4 TechMount products.
The universal design of the Mega Grip Holder accommodates any smartphone having up to 3.25” width with no height restrictions, making it compatible even when used with a large protective case or skin.
This mount package includes Arkon’s Mega Grip one-touch push-button holder, a bicycle/motorcycle handlebar mount, and a bungee secure strap. The bungee strap, relative to other bike mounts on the market, is unique and wraps around the smartphone to provide added stability and protection while riding.
The holder’s unique side-grip technology provides a strong grip that’s easy to use. Just set your iPhone 6S or Android smartphone in the mount and close the arms to lock in place. A push of the holder’s side button releases the phone. The bike/motorcycle mount fits on handlebars measuring up to 33mm in diameter and is easy to install with a Phillips screwdriver. (Three handlebar spacer/adapter rings of different widths are included with the mount.) Was looking for a cheap phone holder to ride around the city while doing deliveries and I´m glad to say for that purpose this little holder works better than I expected, the two elastic bands can make using the phone while riding annoying at times but as I mostly use the phone to set my destination on google maps and leave it alone when riding this isn't a huge deal for me.
I've had to ride trough some sections bad and dirt roads at slow speed and it held my phone secure even then. However there was one instance were I hit a particularly nasty pothole at some speed and my phone was catapulted. Thankfully I also have a small strap that secures the phone to the handlebar that saved it. Now granted that incident would have been avoided entirely if I had been paying attention but it shows you shouldn't use this holder on a poorly maintained highway or anywhere off road, but for city riding on good roads it works fantastically and for the price I really couldn't ask anything more.
