ABUS WBA 75 Granit Wall Anchor .... now in stock
Can be mounted on wall or floor (concrete only, not wood).
The 14mm hardened steel shackle is a full D which means it needs to be cut twice to be defeated (similar to Pragmasis TORC).
The shackle is secured with a heavy molded metal cover which is bolted to the concrete floor or wall with 2 heavy duty anchor bolts. Steel ball bearings are driven into the hex bolts once the install is completed.
- 14 mm round shackle made of special hardened steel for highest resistance
- Mounting hardware included
- The anchor allows the locking of two-wheel vehicles in garages, cellars, at houses and carports
- The WBA 75 can be mounted to the ground as well as to the wall
- Made in Germany
What size chain will fit through this anchor?
Maximum height clearance for WBA75 is 2-1/8" while horizontal inside clearance is 2.5" right above the base (D ring tapers slightly upward)
12 and 14mm ABUS chain will fit as well as 13mm Pragmasis chain (16mm fits but tight).

I purchased a couple of these to lock up a row of multiple bicycles. I considered the Torc, Abus WBA100, and Kryptonite anchors, but since I'm using 12mm chain with an 11mm shackle padlock, those ones were overkill for my application. The WBA75 fit the bill perfectly, at 14mm it's definitely not the weakest link. Since it's less expensive than the other anchors, I was able to purchase two, so the chain will be secured by an anchor on both ends (rather than securing the chain to one anchor and then the last bike in the row- with that setup, a thief could easily cut through the frame of the last bike and get all the bikes without having to cut through a hardened chain, lock, or anchor.) The WBA 75 has a much lower profile than the bigger anchors, so that is a plus. Also, due to the full "D" design, the WBA75, unlike the WBA100, has to be cut twice in order to free the chain. Installs easily as long as you have an SDS hammer drill and 5/16" masonry bit. The included expansion anchors were very high quality and worked perfectly. Great buying experience with Lockitt, my order was shipped absurdly fast.
